I read this week that San Miguel de Allende was voted as this year’s winner for Worlds Best City in Travel and Leisure magazine. I realized that it is the exact anniversary of the wedding inspiration editorial photo shoot I did at the Rosewood Hotel and Resort San Miguel !!
I’m not at all surprised. As a wedding photographer I am endlessly seeking stunning destinations, and when I learned I would be traveling to Mexico I did my research. When I saw the jaw dropping setting of lush mountains, colorful architecture, views and a medley of Hispanic and Mexican locals, and artists of all cultures throughout this small city I knew I needed to photograph it.
With a ‘go big or go home’ idea, along with planner Lisa Shahinian of Love It Events we partnered with Harmony Walton of the Bridal Bar and she helped us put together a dream team of talented local and international wedding professionals. Gathered in the breathtaking courtyard, archced doorways and manicured gardens of The Rosewood San Miguel, we collaborated in producing what any wedding photographer would call a dream.
This stylized shoot showcased a luxury experience I am so incredibly proud to share with engaged couples across the globe. It was previously featured on Wedding Chicks and I now get to shout it off the rooftops of my own blog. Have a look, and ENJOY!!
