One of the joys of returning to New York every June for wedding season (and a little home town love) is connecting with old friends, and I can’t think of a higher honor as when they ask me to photograph a family session with them. I first reconnected with my high school friend Katy when she served as a bridesmaid for our mutual friends Sibyl and Wixon’s wedding in Santa Barbara last year. When we planned her session with her little guy Chase, she described him as a ham. Boy is he a ham.. I arrived at Katy and her husband Brady’s beautiful home in Montclair New Jersey and Chase stole my heart from the moment I arrived. I can’t get enough of his sweet, slightly mischievous smile and I think you’ll agree when you see this collection. This is a true testament to my loving my job as a photographer, knowing I can capture life’s moments for people I’ve known most of my life. It is a gift.
